The Viking Party Manila is a one of a kind evening of fun, food, music and dance, arranged by NordCham Philippines in celebration of our Nordic heritage and our Viking roots. The event is a casual party to which anyone is welcome. Come dressed up in your favorite Viking attire or come as you are. Party program includes Viking-themed entertainment from stage, live music, rich servings of great Nordic food and free-flowing beers of highest quality and quantity.

Indulge in a feast of delicatessen from the Nordic countries! Dusit Hotel, one of the best culinary destinations in Manila, invites everyone to the taste of Nordic Food at a overflowing buffet table. For the real Valhalla experience, Engkanto Brewery is providing free-flowing beer all night long! Engkanto is known to brew one of the best beers in the Philippines. Unlimited beer is included in the Viking Party Pass. A selection of fine Wines and Mixed Drinks will be available at cash bars around the event area.

The Viking Party Manila is a party where everyone participates. Cheer for your country in the Viking Games competition, where teams compete in lifting Thors Hammer, Shield Wall and Beer Drinking. Dance away to our live band, which will be playing all the Nordic hits: Enjoy the great sounds of ABBA, Roxette, Ace Of Base, Europe and many more. And for those ready to rave – our DJ will take down the house on a pulsating dancefloor until midnight.

Vikings, or Norsemen, refer to seafaring people from what is today the Nordic countries. The Viking Age is commonly referred to as from 793 AD to 1066 AD, during which Vikings had a profound impact on the early medieval history of Europe. Vikings were traders and navigated seas and rivers as far as Constantinople, the Middle East and even what is today America in their iconic long boats. However, the Vikings were perhaps more known for raiding villages and were infamous warriors and conquerors. Former Viking settlements are today important centers of trade, such as London, Dublin and Kiev. The Vikings spoke Norse, similar to today’s Icelandic, and wrote in runes. Until today, rune stones are present in the Nordic countries, telling the tales of our ancestors. The Vikings were pagans and worshipped multiple gods, including the now popularized Odin, Thor and Loki. Today, many old Viking traditions are still a part of life in the modern Nordic countries. At the Viking Party Manila, we celebrate our joint history and cultural ties in a fun and engaging way.
